Ahlam AI is a product of Dumusoft ("we", "our", "us"). We are committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use our mobile application.
• Dream Descriptions & Dream Memory: Text you input. For Premium users, summaries of your past dreams (Dream Memory) are sent to the AI during interpretation to provide personalized context. This data is stored ONLY on your device using local storage and is not retained by our servers.
• Dream Vision Images: AI-generated dream imagery (Premium feature, up to 5 per day) is generated via Google Vertex AI (Imagen 4 Fast) and cached locally on your device per dream entry. The same image is reused on subsequent requests for the same dream — no additional API call is made.
• Anonymous Quota Tracking: We track your daily usage using a secure, anonymous Device ID (via Supabase) to enforce our free quota (1 dream per day).
• No Personal Information: We do not collect names, emails, phone numbers, or any personally identifiable information, unless you optionally use Apple Sign-In solely to sync your Premium subscription status.
• Cultural & Belief Preferences (Premium only): Premium users may optionally select a cultural region (14 options) and/or belief system (17 options including Sunni, Catholic, Hindu, Buddhist, Jewish, Sikh, Taoist, Jain, Bahá'í, Zoroastrian, Shamanic, and more) to personalize their dream interpretations. This data is classified as "special category data" under GDPR Article 9 and KVKK Article 6. These preferences are stored exclusively on your device using local storage (SharedPreferences) and are never transmitted to or stored on our servers or databases. When you request a dream interpretation, your cultural preference is included as a transient parameter in the request to personalize the AI prompt — it is used in real-time only and is not logged, stored, or associated with any user identifier on the server side. Deleting the app or using the "Delete All Data" option in the app removes these preferences permanently.
• Usage Analytics: We may collect anonymous usage statistics to improve the app experience.
• Dream text is sent to our secure backend (Supabase), which invokes Google's Gemini AI API to generate dream interpretations in your selected language. The app supports 13 languages: Arabic, Turkish, English, German, Spanish, French, Japanese, Korean, Russian, Hindi, Chinese, Kazakh, and Portuguese.
• Interpretations draw on the Ibn Sirin tradition of dream interpretation alongside modern psychological analysis. No religious affiliation is assumed or required.
• Dream text is NOT stored on our servers. After interpretation, the response is returned and saved locally on your device only.
• If you have set cultural or belief preferences (Premium), these are sent as transient parameters during interpretation requests to personalize the AI response. They are processed in-memory only and are never written to any server-side database, log, or cache.
• We do not sell, share, or distribute your data to any third parties.
• All dream records, interpretations, and cached Dream Vision images are stored locally on your device using SQLite.
• You can delete all your data at any time from the Profile > Delete All Data option.
• Cultural and belief preferences (if set) are stored only in device-local SharedPreferences — never on any server.
• Uninstalling the app will permanently remove all locally stored data, including any cultural or belief preferences.
• Google Gemini AI (Gemini 2.5 Flash Lite): Used for dream interpretation. Dream text is sent and a response is returned; no dream data is retained by us. Subject to Google's Privacy Policy.
• Google Vertex AI (Imagen 4 Fast): Used for Dream Vision AI image generation (Premium, up to 5/day). Dream text is sent as a prompt; generated images are returned and stored locally only. Subject to Google's Privacy Policy.
• RevenueCat: Used for subscription management. Subject to RevenueCat's Privacy Policy.
• Supabase: Used for anonymous device-based quota tracking and secure API proxying.
Ahlam AI is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected with an updated "Last Updated" date.
